Bio
Kanta Bosniak, is an interfaith minister with 37 years experience as Spiritual educator, teaching Meditation and facilitating Guided Meditations. She holds a Holistic Doctorates in Divinity and Hypnosis with a Transpersonal, or spiritually-based approach.
She is also an, artist and writer. Kanta is a nationally recognized expert on using art, creativity and interior design to enhance positive focus. She has had solo shows in PBS TV and NPR radio galleries, Omega Institute &, Association for Reseach and Enlightenment. Group shows have included both the Perspectives and Armory Galleries at Virginia Tech, liturgical art shows & churches and galleries throughout the East Coast. Publications include “SageWoman”, ”Magical Blend, Tidewater Women” (cover profile of Kanta) “Point of Light”, “Studies in Education,” and many more.
Kanta's work was included in the book, Beautiful Necessity, which profiled inspirational women artists and she was mentioned with a photo of her work in an issue of “RAW VISION”, once voted the “Best Art Magazine” by UNESCO.. She was twice Artist-in-Residence at Omega Institute and has presented workshops at colleges, universities and educational institutions throughout the country. She is an award-winning member of the Association to Advance Ethical Hypnosis and belongs to many other professional organizations.
Collectors include a Nobel Prize Winner, an Emmy-winning producer, a popular television actress, several authors, a U.S. National champion athlete and people of all walks of life. Distinguished vistors to her exhibits have included Governor Mark Warner.
She and her work have appeared in magazines, books, television and radio and she is listed in Who's Who of American Women.
